Know how you tan
UVA and UVB, balanced.
Sunlight creates two types of UV. UVA oxidizes melanin — the browning pigment that tans skin. UVB triggers melanin production. Both are needed for a balanced tan, and our equipment replicates them while letting you control your exposure.

Three rules for your best glow
- Apply lotions before and after tanning — only products formulated for indoor tanning.
- Never tan more than once in a 24-hour period; a tan can take up to 48 hours to develop.
- Maintain your colour by tanning 2 to 3 times a week, depending on the level of the bed.
- Always wear protective eye goggles, and use an SPF lip balm.
- Follow the recommended exposure schedule for your skin type — ask our staff if you're unsure.
